Synopsis:
Documentary that marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. "The Early Years" covers the years from Presley's humble beginnings in Tupelo, Mississippi, to his rise to fame in the 1950s with his first Sun recordings, his early television appearances and his first films. "The Hollywood Years" examines the Army and Hollywood periods, with color home movies of Elvis in uniform, plus musical moments from "G.I. Blues," "Blue Hawaii" and "Fun in Acapulco." "The Vegas Years" takes a look at Elvis' later films, including "The Trouble With Girls" and "Change of Habit," and sheds light on his career-changing switch from movie star to concert entertainer.
