Synopsis:
Like Gatsby, Paul Reynolds is owner of a great house, host to high-society parties and collector of interesting people. He recruits Lizzie Thomas as an assistant to bring order to his home. Paul inspires Lizzie with his charisma and imagination and frustates her with his careless destructiveness. Though Lizzie moves on to other jobs, their paths cross time and time again as she finds success and social status, largely through connections made with people she met through Paul.
