Synopsis:
Documentary featuring mummies from around the world. In Europe, the program visits a man who transformed his house into a showcase for his collection of over 100 preserved bodies, skulls and "trophy heads." In St. Louis, viewers take a peek into the crypt of a man called "Uncle Joe," whose family preserved him under glass over one hundred years ago. In the English seaside town of St. Bees, archaeologists reveal how they stumbled upon the grave of a medieval knight, whose organs are still intact and whose blood still flows. The program also chronicles a murder investigation where a young woman's dried remains were found in a barrel in Jericho, New York. Detectives used the information from her DNA and x-rays to catch her killer.
