Synopsis:
A crackerjack stock trader comes up with surprising new work after an investment deal goes bad and costs him his job. The wheeler-dealer's humbling work experience is compounded when his girlfriend Cindy leaves him and moves to Brazil. Desperate for work, Ryan begins writing Cindy's advice column for a small-time newspaper and submitting it to a suspicious editor named Paige. When the column suddenly takes off, Ryan finds himself desperately trying to keep up the lies, and starting to fall in love.
