Synopsis:
While hang-gliding over a river in New Jersey, Charlie Sorrel, a womanizing ad agency vice president, drowns when he crashes into the water. Shortly after, a beautiful amnesiac appears at the door of George Erskine, an ad agency writer and Charlie's best friend. Soon, the woman realizes that she is Charlie and has been reincarnated as a member of the opposite sex. The would-be series was to depict Charlie's/Charlene's adventures as he/she attempts to make the adjustment from male to female. In the pilot episode, Charlie convinces George to let her reside with him and help him readjust to life. Based on the 1964 feature film of the same title (with Debbie Reynolds as Charlie).
