Synopsis:
The series, set in Seattle, Washington, in 1870, follows adventures of Jason, Joshua, and Jeremy Bolt, three brothers who run a logging camp. Episodes during the first season also depict the Bolts' efforts to keep in Seattle for one year a hundred marriageable women, mostly war widows Jason transported from Massachusetts to satisfy his woman-starved loggers. Failure to do so awards Aaron Stemple, the saw mill owner who financed Jason's trip and saved the camp, Bridal Veil Mountain, the legacy left to the Bolts by their parents.
