Synopsis:
Documentary about a group of ambitious teenagers who became legends by writing songs. The creative revolution, led by Carole King, Bobby Darin, Neil Sedaka, Burt Bacharach and more, was a movement that weathered the British Invasion, Vietnam, Motown, divorce, drugs and disillusionment. Engineer and producer Tom Dowd talks about the kids who came after school peddling demos for R&B acts. Don Kirshner tells of the humble beginnings of Aldon Music, where the careers of those kids were launched.
