Synopsis:
A candid look at third party efforts to expand American politics beyond Democrats and Republicans. It features the presidential nominees of the Reform, Natural Law, Socialist, Libertarian and Green parties, comparing their struggles for attention to the high-profile campaigns of Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Al Gore in the 2000 U.S. presidential election. Aiming to introduce viewers to their full slate of options on the ballot come Election Day, the program explores whether voting for a third party is realy a "wasted vote."
