Synopsis:
A story, set in New York City, about Irene Cannon, a hopeful actress and singer from Omaha who comes to Manhattan to seek her fame and fortune. In the pilot episode, Irene, who works as a waitress at Dotty Bushmill's Talent Hutch, meets a handsome basketball player and then sets out to win his affections.
