Synopsis:
In this dramatization of the story of Argentine newspaper publisher Timerman's experiences and torture in a secret prison, the casting of both Roy Scheider and Liv Ullmann, as Timerman and his wife, raised a good many critical eyebrows and seemed to work against the movie, as did trying to make New York City and New Jersey, where it was filmed, pass for downtown Buenos Aires and surroundings.
