Synopsis:
A comedy series about a recently divorced woman, Karen Matthews, who is about to turn 40. With a big promotion at the publishing company she works for and her daughter Laura away at college, she enters a new and independent stage in her life. Then she meets Steven Foreman, an ambitious 28-year-old sandwichman, and they have dinner together at a local restaurant. Steven doesn't try to hide his feelings for Karen, but she feels torn and confused, not knowing whether to reject Steven's openess about their new relationship or throw caution to the wind and live a little.
