Synopsis:
Seamus O'Neill, a factory worker from New Jersey wins the lottery and heads to Key West, Florida, to pursue his dream of being a writer for The Meteor, the newspaper run by the demanding publisher King Cole. Among the residents in Key West are Chaucy, a ruthless mayoral candidate with a drinking problem; Savannah, a prostitute with a diverse clientele; Hector, a businessman with an autistic son; Cody, the eccentric town sheriff; Gumbo, owner of the local tavern; Rikki, Seamus' neighbor; and JoJo, a local Rastafarian from Jamaica.
