Synopsis:
Series follows Los Angeles firefighters and paramedics on the job, exploring the pressures of the profession and how that impacts their personal lives and relationships. The firefighters from Station 132 include: Jack Malloy, the charismatic leader of the crew whose commitment to his work has earned the respect of his fellow firefighters but is costing him his marriage to Laura; Erin Coffey, a capable and committed firefighter whose overly protective father, Dick Coffey, happens to be the Battalion Chief; J.B. Baker, a quick-witted, deeply spiritual man who chose his profession as a way of helping others and regularly turns to the Bible for inspiration; Kay Rizzo, one of the crew's bravest members who guards her emotions closely; Ray Grimes, a determined and dedicated worker who fought his way out of the urban jungle; Lenny Rose, the crew's rookie, whose enthusiasm is often tempered by his naivete; and Bernie Ramirez, a former front-line firefighter now working as an arson investigator.
