Synopsis:
A sequel to the television movie mystery "Murder in a Small Town" featuring Broadway director-turned-sleuth Larry "Cash" Carter. Cash, who now runs a community theater in Stamford, Connecticut, his girlfriend Mimi and detective pal Tony Rossini investigate the murder of renowned humanitarian Emma Sachs on the eve of World War II. Emma, who, with her late husband, helped Jews escape from Nazi Germany, was a friend of Cash's whose niece Dorie is starring in Cash's current play. Suspects include: S.S. agent Klaus Gruber, who's posing as a flirtatious American businessman; Emma's uptight maid Gertie; her secretary Paul Kessler; and her cantakerous foreign companion Rachel Singer.
