Synopsis:
The series, set in Concord, Massachusetts, during the late 1860s, follows the dreams, ambitions, and frustrations of the March sisters -- Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth. As seen through the sentimental eyes of Jo, an aspiring writer, stories of Victorian manners and mores unfold.
