Synopsis:
Based on the 1955 weeper with William Holden and Jennifer Jones, this sudser trailed the lovers' daughter as she pursued medicine and men in San Francisco. It was one of daytime's earliest forays into interracial romances, but CBS suits buried the plot to avoid possible viewer protest, triggering a backstage shakeup that threw the show into turmoil and sent several key players packing.
