Synopsis:
April and Jack Nardini, former high-school sweethearts still in love after 17 years, are parents holding down two jobs on opposite shifts while raising three difficult kids on a tight budget in New York City. When the Beggs, an idyllic family from the suburbs, move into the apartment next door, the Nardinis initially feel a bit jealous of their quiet existence, but eventually overcome their differences and learn to celebrate their different philosophies and lifestyles.
