Synopsis:
Mariette Hartley won an Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of Candy Lightner, the California woman who spearheaded the drive for national anti-drunk driver legislation after her own young daughter became a hit-and-run victim. The film itself was Emmy-nominated as Outstanding Drama Special.
