Synopsis:
When Mrs. Elspeth McGillicuddy's train pulls up alongside another on their way to separate destinations, Mrs. McGillicuddy witnesses a silhouette of a murder by strangling in the next train. As the other train quickly takes off, Mrs. McGillicuddy is left reeling by what she has just seen. The police think Mrs. McGillicuddy is either crazy or was simply dreaming, but her old friend Miss Marple thinks otherwise and gets on the case. Her examination of the train route leads her to Rutherford Hall, a wealthy estate with dark secrets.
