Synopsis:
A contemporary Montana farm family is torn apart by disagreement when coal mine owners want to buy them out. Hoyce Guthrie, the stubborn patriarch of the family, refuses to concede that his rowdy days as a cowboy are over. His wife's passion for the land places her in constant battle with her husband.
