Synopsis:
The story, set in New York City, follows the adventures of Laura Ireland, an avid mystery fan and owner of a bookstore called Murder Ink, who helps her husband, a police detective, solve baffling crimes. In the pilot episode, Laura attempts to solve a case involving a missing $100,000 and a girl who inherits a bottle of sleeping pills from her grandmother.
