Synopsis:
A made-for-cable movie about veteran newscaster, Edward R. Murrow, beginning with his return to CBS in New York at the end of World War II, after his celebrated stint as a radio newsman during the London Blitz. The depiction of Murrow, William S. Paley, Frank Stanton, and Fred Friendly, offers a portrait of the development of television news and network policy in the early days of the medium.
