Synopsis:
Presentation of Benjamin Britten's opera based on the frontier tall tale about the adventures of legendary American folk hero Paul Bunyan. The presence of the giant lumberjack spurs the colonists' mastery of nature to bring about the development of the continent. Originally produced in the United States during World War II.
