Synopsis:
Profile of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, from his early childhood in Louisville, Kentucky to his success at the 1960 Olympics, his victory over Sonny Liston that earned him the heavyweight title, and his personal transformation as he joined the Nation of Islam. The special offers insights on the personal side of the legend, beginning with his retirement from the sport and the discovery of his Parkinson's disease. The program also includes exclusive footage that offers a look at Ali's life at home with wife Lonnie and their son Asaad.
