Synopsis:
A pilot based on the 1979 feature film of the same title about a woman's struggle to unionize the textile mill in which she works. In the pilot episode, titled "A Matter of the Heart," Frank Osborne, the father of Norma Rae's illegitimate son, brings her to court in an attempt to gain custody of the boy.
