Synopsis:
The series focuses on the dramatic clash between two New York families -- the McKays and the Danzigs -- the former dedicated to upholding the law, the other to subverting it. Both family patriarchs grew up together in the same working-class neighborhood, each intent upon elevating his status in society. What sets Vincent Danzig apart from his childhood friend Patrick McKay is the route each chose to achieve his idea of the "American Dream."
