Synopsis:
Based on the story from Greek mythology about the King of Argos, who imprisons his daughter Danae after receiving a chilling prophecy that his first grandson will kill him. While imprisoned, Danae gives birth to a son, Perseus, after a supernatural visitation. The king later casts Danae and Perseus into the sea, but they survive. Eventually, the grown-up Perseus beheads Medusa the Gorgon, whose stare turns men to stone, and returns to Argos to fulfill his destiny.
