Synopsis:
Stand-up comic Richard Jeni played himself---as the host of a New York City cooking show, not as a comic. Much of the humor involved his lack of luck with women and its title (also the title of his 1993 HBO special) referred to his assertion that the platypus `lives alone, is short-legged, and tries to mate a lot but can't.'
