Synopsis:
Teenager Dana Erickson lives with her single mother, Nancy, who is struggling to keep her small business afloat. When Dana, who works at a fast-food restaurant to save money for college, starts dating Marshall, he introduces her to a world of gambling, which sends her life spiraling out of control. After Dana experiences the high of winning, she is hooked into trying to recapture the euphoria. As a result, her gambling compulsion leads her to steal from her employer and even her hard-working mother. When Dana is threatened as a result of her gambling, she decides to seek help for her addiction. Based on actual events.
