Synopsis:
Tough New York detective "Popeye" Doyle (from the Oscar-winning 1971 movie, "The French Connection") reappears on the streets of New York City, this time caught up in a murder case with international implications that could upset the balance of power in the Middle East. This television movie was originally intended as the pilot for a series.
