Synopsis:
After the suicide of her son in 1983, Mary Griffith, a devoutly religious mother who had prayed for her son to be "healed" of homosexuality, founds the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association and becomes a crusader for gay rights and causes. Based on a true story.
