Synopsis:
A Bosnian refugee is found murdered after what is presumed to be a period of torture, and Detective Jane Tennison is on the case. An elaborate investigation leads her into the presence of a war criminal in hiding, one who has snitched on some powerful war figures. As Detective Tennison's case gets progressively complex and full of obstacles, she attempts to locate the truth while always on the verge of losing her badge as well as her sense of purpose.
