Synopsis:
Detective Superintendent Jane Tennison is faced with a series of murders that bear a chilling resemblance to those that Tennison had investigated in the initial "Prime Suspect" story. Her superiors suspend her from duty while they investigate her handling of the earlier case. Determined to prove she is right, she again comes face-to-face with the sneering criminal she put behind bars originally. Also, Tennison suspects that her lover might have betrayed her.
