Synopsis:
Miniseries that tells the story of the 38-year relationship between Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, and his slave mistress Sally Hemings. Set against the backdrop of pivotal events in our nation's early history, the drama explores not only the love story between Hemings and the distinguished president, with whom she is believed to have had five children, but also her relationships with her family, her peers and Jefferson's eldest daughter, as she maintained her position at Monticello.
