Synopsis:
A documentary depicting the discovery of the infamous World War II German battleship, "Bismarck," on June 8, 1989, at the bottom of the Atlantic 600 miles west of Brest, France. The discovery was made by explorer and oceanographer, Dr. Robert D. Ballard. Broadcast as part of the "National Geographic Explorer" series.
