Synopsis:
A television movie about Richard Radley, a father, surgeon, naval officer, and athlete, who underwent a sex-change operation to become the woman -- Renee Richards -- whom she felt had always been trapped in the body of a man. The film, based on Renee Richards' own account, describes the psychological conflict and troubled relationships of the man, and the problems of the woman as she tries to compete as a woman with the U.S. Tennis Association.
