Synopsis:
The story, set in Atlanta, Georgia, follows the everyday problems of Brewster Baker, a stock car racer, as he struggles to raise five orphaned children (their parents killed in a car accident)--kids he caught stripping his car and soon afterward took under his wing. In the pilot episode, Brewster tries to work up the courage to compete in a race following a near-fatal crash. Based on the feature film of the same title.
