Synopsis:
A comedy series set in a suburban strip mall. Former child star Tammi Tyler thinks she married Mr. Right, that is Mr. Rich, but she discovers that husband Harvey Krudup is not the owner of a chain of "Star Brite Cleaners" -- he owns one "Star Brite Cleaner." Tammi's existence is now intertwined with the lives of other strip mall store owners, employees and patrons. The Rancho del Toro strip mall includes: "Wok Don't Run," a Chinese restaurant run by two oversexed lesbians; "Good Things," a failing gift basket store opened by two yuppies who quit their corporate jobs to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams; "The Funky Fox Bar," that employs a brain-damaged barmaid with a metal plate in her head; and "We Shoot You Video," a special occasion video place run by a Russian immigrant who uses the shop as a front for a porno production house.
