Synopsis:
Special that spotlights the issue of teen drug use and its consequences. Teenagers meet those whose lives are forever changed by drugs, including a former high school athlete suffering irreversible brain damage and blindness from an overdose of the "club drug" GHB; the father of a 14-year-old boy who died instantly from "huffing" (inhaling from an aerosol can); a crack baby trembling from its addiction; and an honor student-turned-junkie who describes hitting rock bottom.
