Synopsis:
Documentary about the Black Legion, a secret organization of the 1930s, discovered to have been responsible for a series of murders and hate crimes that terrorized the Midwest. The members of the Black Legion saw themselves as the guardians of white Christian values. Membership exceeded 130,000, including state and local officials. The Black Legion was responsible for at least 57 murders. The program reveals how the group was formed and how it was finally brought to justice.
