Synopsis:
Telecast of the 13th annual daytime Emmy Awards. For the first time, daytime stars from all three networks who are paired on their shows will be paired as presenters for the ceremony, focusing on romantically-linked couples. The show, telecast live from the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, offers the presenting couples a chance to display their comedy talents, and includes romantic scenes from all 13 daytime dramas. The ceremony, for the first time, is presented without hosts.
