Synopsis:
A movie about the small group of Texans who defended the Alamo against attack by Mexican troops. In 1836, a small garrison of 181 men, led by Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett, and commandant Wiliam Travis, vow to fight for Texas independence from Mexico. They are up against a 6000-strong army led by Generalissimo Santa Anna, a complex dictator driven by machismo and his own national pride. Again and again, Bowie and his men hold back the Mexican army, but their luck may be running out when the Mexicans launch a pre-dawn surprise attack.
