Synopsis:
Barbara Stanwyck is the 15th recipient of AFI's Life Achievement Award in a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on 4/9/86. The event marks Stanwyck's 60th anniversary in show business. She made her screen debut in the silent film, "Broadway Nights," in 1926, and went on to appear in 83 motion pictures. Included in the program are tributes from colleagues and excerpts from more than a dozen of Stanwick's 83 films and more than 200 television appearances.
