Synopsis:
Movie based on the life of actress Audrey Hepburn, from her childhood during the Nazi occupation of Holland in WWII, to her celebrated status as an international film star. Tracing her career from her first days on the London stage to her debut on Broadway in "Gigi," Audrey proceeds to take Hollywood by storm by appearing in a succession of films with top leading men, including Gregory Peck in "Roman Holiday," for which she won an Academy Award; William Holden in "Sabrina," in which she and Holden spark an on-screen, as well as off-screen romance; and George Peppard in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." When Audrey marries actor/producer Mel Ferrer, he is instrumental in guiding her career. Audrey appears in the "The Nun's Story," which garners another one of her five Academy Award nominations, but also affects Audrey's outlook on life. Throughout her life, Audrey struggles to balance love and career, and leaves a legacy of her devotion to children.
