Synopsis:
Drama series that delves into the personal and professional lives of Mike Dorigan and Zane Marinelli, two young patrol officers working out of the 12th Precinct on New York's Lower East Side. Zane became a cop because of his mother's murder when he was four. Zane's father is in prison for the murder, but Zane still hopes to prove he wasn't guilty. Zane also keeps trying to break up with his dangerously unpredictable girlfriend Beatrice Felsen. Mike became a cop because he didn't want to become a firefighter like everyone else in his family. He is an ambitious by-the-book cop with a sensitive nature and a worried mind. He is newly engaged to Elizabeth Waclawek, a gifted young med student.
