Synopsis:
Based on the non-fiction book by Ernest Volkman and John Cummings, about the theft of $8 million from Kennedy Airport's Lufthansa Terminal in 1978, the largest cash robbery in the United States. When washed-up mobster Jimmy "The Gent" Burke coerces his son Frankie to help pull off "The Crime of the Century," the theft of $8 million dollars from JFK airport, everyone wants a piece of the action. A web of betrayal, deceit and murder leads the FBI, the NYPD and the Nassau County (NY) Police Department to combine their efforts to bring down Burke. In addition to pulling off one of history's biggest robberies, Burke was believed to be responsible for the mysterious disappearance of several of his cohorts.
