Synopsis:
A dramatic pilot, not picked up by ABC, about Mayor Chet Lugar who announces the completion of negotiations with a Swedish construction company that plans to take over the abandoned Kroller Foundry. The mayor finds himself in a power struggle with the owner of the city's leading newspaper who threatens to abort the reopening of the foundry, and an unemployed, desperate citizen takes the law, and a hunting rifle, into his own hands.
