Synopsis:
News special and town hall meeting dealng with some of the questions and issues facing in the world in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. First-hand news stories from the Middle East include reporting from Afghanistan both before and after the Taliban regime came to power and terrorist training camps, in addition to stories closer to the United States, such as marines about to ship out for combat and Arab-American college students fearful of discrimination.
