Synopsis:
When their rocket ship penetrates a strange radioactive belt that is encircling the Earth, four people acquire fantastic powers. Scientist Reed Richards acquires the ability to stretch like taffy; Sue Richards, his wife, possesses the ability to become invisible at will; Benn Grimm, a scientist, becomes "The Thing," a beast with the strength of a thousand men; and Johnny Storm, who acquires the ability to turn to fire, becomes "The Human Torch." Stories relate their battle against the sinister forces of evil.
