Synopsis:
A socially concerned, controversial priest suddenly finds himself under arrest as a stickup man, and a number of people are willing to identify him as the culprit. This dramatization of the true-life experience of Baltimore priest, Father Bernard Pagano, on whom even the church turned its back, was called, until the very eve of its initial showing, "The Bandit Priest."
